As a mother navigating the sea of children’s clothing, I struggled to find pieces that felt both joyful, timeless and practical. Everything seemed either overly trend-driven or uninspired “basics.”
I wanted something different: thoughtfully designed clothes that kids love to wear—and that parents feel good about.

So HoLM THINGS started with a clear vision: to create a capsule wardrobe for children that combines timeless style, premium quality, and everyday practicality.

Designed in Switzerland and responsibly made in Europe, we create small, intentional collections built for real childhood - full of movement and colour. Thoughtfully curated and free from fleeting trends, every item is meant to be worn, loved, and passed on.

Our Values

We believe less is more—when it’s made well. Each garment is crafted using 100% cotton—including the threads and labels—making our pieces not only soft and safe for children but also built with circularity in mind. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, our materials are free of harmful substances and gentle on young skin.
Our mono-material construction isn’t just a design choice—it’s a commitment to the planet and to the little ones who wear our clothes. By avoiding synthetic blends, we ensure the possibility for our garments to be more easily recycled at the end of their journey. Another reason why we choose natural materials like cotton and natural rubber—fewer synthetic fibres means less plastic shedding into the environment and onto our kids’ skin.

Signature features like our heart patches encourage creativity, self-expression, and repair, helping extend the life of each item with pride. As part of our circular approach, we run a Take-Me-Back program: customers can return HoLM THINGS clothing that is no longer wearable, so we can store and recycle it once minimum volumes are reached. This ensures our garments avoid landfill and supports a more responsible fashion system.

Lilian Holm is the founder and visionary behind HoLM THINGS. With 15 years of experience in the fashion industry—including working with prestigious global names and specialising in children's fashion—Lilian brings deep expertise and a sharp design sensibility to the brand. As a mother and fashion industry professional, she set out to create the very clothing she couldn't find in the market: high-quality, stylish, and sustainable kidswear that prioritises comfort without sacrificing character.
Involving children directly in the design process, she perfected practical fit, playful details, and all-day comfort—avoiding tight collars, itchy seams, or anything that might get in the way of a good adventure. “We created HoLM THINGS to empower children—to dress themselves with confidence, to care for their clothes, and to express who they are,” Lilian shares.
